CHEMISTRY
Founded in 1989, the Department of Chemistry is currently headed by Doctor of Chemical Sciences Professor Andrey Aleksandrovich Chichirov.
The department boasts three educational and one research chemical research laboratories.
Each year the department teaches 3,000 students. It offers more than fifty different classes.
The Department of Chemistry’s main research focus is on the development of resource-saving technologies in chemistry and the energy sector.
The department’s staff take part in local, national, and international academic conferences devoted to the energy sector, chemistry, and education. They have published more than 200 academic presentations and 100 scientific papers.
