ABOUT THE JOURNAL

«Vestnik Kazanskogo gosudarstvennogo energeticheskogo universiteta» journal has been published at KSPEU since March 2009.

«Vestnik KGEU» was established by the decision of Academic Council of Kazan State Power Engineering University (KSPEU) in September 18, 2006. The journal was registered by Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Communications and Mass Communications and was assigned the number ПИ № ФС-77-34079 as of 14 November 2008.

The main task of «Vestnik KSPEU» is to inform the science and technology community members on basic and applied research conducted in the fields of power engineering, mathematics, economic sciences and humanities. Remit of the journal is represented by the following sections: «Mathematics», «Power Engineering», «Computer science, computing technologies and management», «Teaching science».

The journal is intended not only for faculty members, graduate students, competitors, but also for undergraduate students, who are involved in scientific research, as well as engineering and technical personnel of relevant enterprises, employees of scientific research institutes and R&D organizations.

The «Vestnik Kazanskogo gosudarstvennogo energeticheskogo universiteta» journal is registered in the International center ISSN, its ISSN number is: 2072-6007.

The topics covered by this journal include various branches of knowledge and they are presented by the following headings: Physics and mathematics (01.01.00 - Mathematics); Technical sciences (05.13.00 - Computer science, computing technologies and management; 05.14.00 – Power Engineering); Teaching Sciences - 13.00.00.

Terms of submission of manuscripts are published in every issue of the journal.

All the materials provided for publishing are to be reviewed.

The journal publishes only articles recommended by the editorial board of the journal.

The journal is published quarterly with a volume of 180 pages.

The subscription price is 495 rubles per copy. Type of payment - bank transfer.

1. How to submit your manuscript

1.1 Authors submit their manuscripts to the editorial board of the journals. The submitted manuscript must be compiled in compliance with Manuscript Submission Requirements, and should contain the problem statement and demonstrate its relevance, novelty, the results received and the conclusions made. The manuscript should be e-mailed to the editorial board at: vestnik.kgeu@mail.ru.

1.2 Article Submission Requirements:

• the length of the article of A4 size should not be less than 6 pages;

• text should be carefully proofread and signed by the author, who is responsible for the scientific and theoretical level of the published material;

• page numbering - at the foot of a page;

• references to the cited sources must be provided at the end of the article in accordance with the State Standards GOST R 7.05-2008 (see. Examples of end-note bibliographic references registration in accordance with the above mentioned State Standard);

• the article must be submitted both on paper (420066, Kazan, Krasnoselskaya Street, 51, «G» building, room. 204) and electronically (via e-mail) in a single MS Word file, the file name must contain author(s)’ surnames (Example, Ivanov V.А., Sidorov P.К.); the hard copy of the article should be identical with the electronic one; when preparing the article it is suggested to use: Times New Roman font, size 12 pt, line spacing – 1,15; text alignment – justify; text margins: upper, right and left –4 cm, lower – 6 cm, paragraphing – 1 cm, hyphenation;

• tables, graphs, charts, formulas, images and other graphical objects must be created in the MS Word editor.

• information about the author (s) should be indicated in the attached table, where all fields must be filled both in Russian and English (provide full information).

2. The article reviewing procedure

2.1 All research papers received by the editorial board are subject to mandatory licensing.

2.2 Deputy chief editor or executive secretary determines whether the article is relevant, meets the requirements of the journal article. Then the article is passed for review to members of the editorial board or authorized reviewer, who have the most relevan scientific specialization to the topic of the article.

2.3 The review shall be conducted confidentially. Reviewers are notified that the manuscript is author’s intellectual property and that the information contained in the article is not subject to disclosure. Reviewers are not allowed to make copies of articles.

2.4 Terms of the transfer for article review in each case is determined by the executive secretary of the journal. It takes up to 10-14 days to review an article.

2.5 The review should be stated: that the content of the article its title; the extent to which the article corresponds to the modern achievements in the given field of science, the appropriate methods to modern requirements and solution of the problems in the study; are: evaluation of presentation, the possession of the author of the scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, the validity of the results and conclusions of their compliance with the content of the publication; description of the advantages and disadvantages of the article; Finally, the possibility of publication of the article (acceptable without corrections, with minimal corrections acceptable scientific editor).

2.6 In the event of a positive review editors will inform the authors of admission to the publication of the article with a timetable publication. A copy of the review is available upon request to the author, as well as in the Ministry of Education and Science for admission to the editor of the corresponding request. In case of refusal to publish the author forwarded a reasoned response.

2.7 If the final review feedback contains recommendations for correcting and finalizing articles, then the executive secretary of the journal sends this review feedback to the author so the articles is reviewed by the author and completed.

2.8 In the event of disagreement with the opinion of the reviewer the author has a right to give a reasoned response to the journal. The article can be sent for additional revision or for approval of the editorial board.

2.9 The originals of reviews are to be stored in the editorial office for five years.

3. The procedure of article publication

3.1 The articles shall be published in the journal after they have met all the requirements, stated in the section " The article reviewing procedure” and after the positive reviews on the article have been recieved.

3.2 The articles can be included into the journal free of charge and also at the condition of reimbursement of expenses.

3.3 The materials submitted by the specially invited (by the editorial board\chief editor) author, as well as articles of graduate students are published at the expense of the editorial board’s organization.
