MANAGEMENT OF ENTERPRISES

Founded in 2013, on the basis of the department of Engineering Management. Today the department is headed by Candidate of Economic Sciences Docent Roman Andreyevich Timofeyev.

Students at the department of Management of Enterprises are trained not only in traditional management, but also how to manage marketing, project research, and organizational tasks, among many others.

In the course of their education students receive a fundamental education in the economic sciences, the humanities, and a series of technical disciplines. Students also acquire organizational, research, analytical, and entrepreneurial skills.

The department uses contemporary multimedia technologies in the teaching process.

A large number of students undergo practical training and internships at Kazan and the

Republic of Tatarstan’s largest energy sector facilities.

In the past five years students of the department have taken part in fifteen conferences and published more than 50 theses and scientific papers.

Special attention is paid to the academic research of students. Each year students participate in scientific conferences and seminars on the university, republic (Tatarstani), federation (Russia-wide), and international level.

Since 2006 the department has had professional retraining courses in Practical Psychology.
